Chester pouted. ‘Fine then, leave your own room,’ he said stubbornly.

"Great, I'm sleeping in your room then." Jayden stood up and kissed Chester on the top of his head. "G'night, pretty boy."

Chester blushed. ‘G’night,’ he mumbled, though not liking the idea of sleeping without him, especially if he was going to have another one of those nightmares. ‘Love you.’

Jayden walked out, pretending to walk in Chester's room before sitting down by the hallway for a bit.

Chester watched him leave. He grabbed one of Jayden’s sweaters from the cupboard and put it on, then grabbed another and laid back down on the bed, hugging onto the second sweater.

Jayden stared at the wall for a bite, picking at a loose thread on his shirt.

‘Jaaaayden!’ Chester called after a minute or two. ‘Come back!’

Jayd heard, chuckling. He opened the door. "I've been summoned." He said before shutting it and laying down next to his boyfriend. "Are you snuggling my sweaters?"

‘Maybe,’ Chester mumbled, hugging onto him. ‘I missed you. The sweaters smell like you.’ He nuzzled his face against Jayden.

"I was only gone for a few minutes, love." Jayd smiled, but something was nagging at the back of his mind. If this is how you guys react after a few minutes apart, what's going to happen tomorrow?

Chester held onto him tightly. ‘I don’t wanna sleep without you,’ he mumbled, deciding not to think about what would happen tomorrow.

Jayden nodded, holding him close. "Me neither." He thought for a bit, frowning.

Chester smiled, nuzzling his face into his shirt. After a few moments, he murmured, ‘Jayden?’

"Yeah?" Jayd asked quietly.

‘When am I gonna see you again after tomorrow?’
