"Nothing. I just... Got reminded of it, I guess." He sighed. "Sorry for ruining the mood."

‘No, it’s okay,’ Chester said quickly, pulling him close. ‘I’ll probably have to go tomorrow though… Most likely in the morning.’

Jayden nodded, letting himself be pulled closer. "Yeah." He mumbled, burying himself in Chester's shirt.

Chester gave a weak smile, kissing the top of his head. He gently rubbed Jayden’s back. ‘Sorry.’

Jayd shook his head. "It's not your fault."

‘It kind of is, for slacking on work,’ Chester said.

"But then it'd also be my fault for distracting you." Jayden chuckled.

‘You didn’t distract me, I got distracted. Big difference.’

"But I'm just so distracting~" Jayden looked up at him, smiling.

Chester blushed rolling his eyes. ‘No.’

"What do you mean, no?!" Jayden pulled away from him, turning around so his back was facing him. "I can't believe you!"

Chester laughed, nuzzling his head into the crook of Jayden’s neck. ‘Hey, why are you upset?’

"You said I wasn't distracting." Jayden huffed, trying to sound as mad as possible even though he really didn't mind. "As if."

Chester raised an eyebrow. ‘Why are you mad about that?’ he laughed.

"Because if I'm not distracting you, I'm not doing a good job at being your boyfriend!" Jayd laughed.
