Jayd chuckled. "Sorry!"

Chester mewled crankily.

"Whatever."

Chester stood up and jumped off Jayden’s bed, walking towards the door.

"No wait, I'm sorry!" Jayden followed him, picking him up.

Chester mewled in surprise, wriggling in his arms.

Jayden didn't let him get out of his grip. "C'mon, cooperate with me, love."

Chester made that cat screeching sound and wriggled.

Jayd sat down on the bed, still holding Chester. He eventually set him down, but moved the blankets and pillows around so he couldn't run off.

Chester attempted to run off, but couldn’t. He looked up at Jayden and bapped his leg in dismay.

Jayden chuckled. "Sorry love." He pat him on the head. "Why do you want to run off?"

Chester nuzzled his hand and mewled.

"Just talk to meeeee."

Chester shook his head and mewled, trying to get past the barrier so he could snuggle with Jayden.

"What're you doing?" Jayden chuckled, picking him up.
