Jayden blushed, smiling weakly. "As would I. I know you have to go back. I'll see you again as soon as possible." He leaned into Chester slightly.

Chester sighed softly, giving a weak smile back. ‘I know. When do you think I’ll have to leave so Cleverly’s not too mad at me?’

Jayd sighed. "Once he does, I'd assume, which is probably going to be in a few days." His grip tightened slightly.

Chester noticed his grip tighten. He looked down. ‘A few days being..?’

"I don't know, we'll figure it out." Jayden said quickly, trying not to think about it too much, knowing he'd get much too upset.

Chester sighed softly, noticing the look on Jayden’s face. He didn’t want to think about it either, but they’d have to get it sorted soon. ‘Love, I have to leave soon. Tomorrow, at the soonest. Or this afternoon if anything goes wrong. It probably won’t, but still…’

Jayd looked up at Chester. "This afternoon?" He asked weakly, his voice sounding higher than usual, which irritated him.

‘I probably won’t though!’ Chester said quickly, desperately trying to make Jayden feel better. ‘Like, the chances are very low!’

"I know, I know!" Jayden responded quickly. "I-I just-" He cut himself off with a groan, burying his face into Chester's shirt.

Chester gave a weak smile, kissing the top of his head. ‘You just what?’ he said softly, wanting to comfort him like his boyfriend had for him.

Jayd shook his head. "I don't want to make you feel bad." He murmured. "It's not your fault that you have to leave."

‘I know, hun. Can you tell me what’s wrong, please? So I can help you like you help me?’ Chester said quietly, stroking his hair.

Jayden held on to Chester's shirt tightly. "I don't want you to leave. I want you to stay with me. Forever." He sighed. "But you have to leave, and it'd be better for you anyways because of how s---ty my kingdom is, and maybe everyone would shut up about us for once, and your kingdom needs you, so clearly it's the better thing, for you to leave, and I need to stop being so clingy." He sighed. "But I don't care, I want you to stay with me."

Chester paused for a moment. He gave a weak smile, holding Jayden tightly. ‘I know, love. I didn’t want to leave you either. If I could, sweetheart, I would stay with you forever,’ he mumbled, kissing Jayden’s forehead. ‘It’s adorable when you’re clingy, and your kingdom is not s---ty. A few people are, that’s all. And human reporters are a little aggressive. I’d rather be a scandal than be without you, hun, but I do have to leave.’

"I know you don't want to leave. It's not adorable when I'm clingy, it's embarrassing, and those 'few people' wouldn't leave you alone." He sighed. "I know you have to leave. Your kingdom needs you more than I do."
