Chester looked up at him, meeting his eyes. Tears streaked down his face and he took a shaky breath, leaning into Jayden’s touch. ‘R-Really?’

Jayden wiped his boyfriends tears with his thumb, his own eyes welling up with tears. "Yes, of course I'm sure." He murmured.

Chester closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. He raked his fingers through Jayden’s hair, leaning into his boyfriend’s touch.

Jayd wrapped Chester in a tight hug. "Tell me when you're ever feeling this bad, ok?"

Chester nodded, hugging him back. ‘Thank you..’ he mumbled, sniffing.

"It's no problem." Jayden mumbled. "Anything for you."

Chester opened his eyes, looking up at Jayden. ‘Do you have anything you need to talk about, too?’

Jayden thought for a bit. Most of his big concerns were over Chester if he was being honest. "Are you ok? With everything that happened last night?"

Chester paused. He looked down and shook his head. ‘I’m not your little f*g,’ he mumbled. ‘I mean, I’m yours, but not a f*g. And I know you’re not using me. I didn’t think Astrid would stand up for you, though.’

Jayd sighed at the first part. "You're certainly not my little f*g. You're my lovely boyfriend. There's a difference. And I'd never dream of using you." Unless nightmares count- "Neither did I, but Caden's got a way of making enemies I suppose."

Chester gave a small but weak smile. ‘I know, hun.’ He blushed a little at the lovely boyfriend part, and kissed Jayden’s nose. ‘I just hope Cleverly stops giving you a hard time. He can’t say all those horrible things in front of you.’

Jayden nodded. "He better not." He mumbled. He hated that he could see where Cleverly was coming from whenever he accused Jayden of anything. At least with Caden he was clearly wrong.

Chester held himself close to Jayden. ‘He means well, but you’d never do such a thing,’ he mumbled. ‘He is right about me having to leave, though. I have to go back to my kingdom eventually,’ he said quietly, looking up at his boyfriend.

Jayd sighed. "I know you do." He mumbled. "You should. I mean, I don't want you to, obviously, but... Your kingdom needs you, and then maybe people would finally calm down about us when we're not practically attached at the hip."

‘I’d rather be attached to you by the hip than be king,’ Chester mumbled, and he actually meant it. He wasn’t sure what he loved more, his kingdom or being close to Jayden. ‘I don’t know how I’ll cope without you. But I have to go back to my kingdom.’
