Hazel smiled weakly. ‘Thanks, I guess.’
Cohen pulled over a chair from the counter and sat down next to Theo. ‘What did he want to talk to you about?’ -
Theo shrugged, though he assumed it was about him because dRaMa.

Cohen nodded. ‘Right,’ he said.

Theo looked over at Hazel, trying to give her a gentle smile.

Hazel smiled back weakly.

Everyone got to the table soon, and Hazel's dad gave them all a plate of the food.

Hazel grabbed some cutlery from the middle of the table for the three of them.

"Thank you." Theo smiled.

Hazel smiled and started eating her food.

Theo did as well. Cohen grinned at the two of them as he ate.

Hazel glanced at Cohen. ‘What are you smiling about?’ she said with a slightly nervous laugh.

"Nooooothing." Cohen chuckled, enjoying how nervous Hazel sounded.
