‘Ally, stop being naughty!’ Jackie laughed, getting out of his seat to try and get mashed potato out or Ally’s hair.

Ally stuck her tongue out and babbled some nonsense Theo was sure was some snappy comment.

Jackie rolled his eyes. ‘Yeah yeah, we all know Theo’s really annoying,’ he said, pretending to understand Ally to amuse the younger kids.

"How could you, Ally!" Theo laughed. "I am [i]not!"[i]

(NO) *not!"

Ally babbled some more nonsense. ‘Yes, he IS really irritating, I agree,’ Jackie said, then in a stage whisper said, ‘But we can’t let Hazel know that.’
The younger kids burst into laughter. Hazel rolled her eyes, thought chuckled. -
Theo rolled his eyes, laughing.

Jackie grinned and sat back down in his seat. Hazel’s dad didn’t seem amused by the jokes he made, but Jackie liked to make the younger kids laugh - and even more to make fun of his big sister.

Ally babbled more, this time to Lilla. Lilla just giggled.

‘Oh, you should’ve been there Ally, it was HILARIOUS,’ Lilla giggled. Hazel knew exactly what she was talking about.
‘Alright, I think that’s enough of that game-‘ she said. -
Ally cut her off, blowing a raspberry before babbling more.

‘Yeah, they’re all lovey dovey now,’ Lilla said. Hazel face palmed.

"Alright, that's enough." Theo chuckled, blushing slightly. "Ally, focus on throwing the mashed potatoes or something."

Ally babbled and blew a raspberry at Theo. ‘Yeah, it’s really disgusting,’ Lilla giggled.
Hazel blushed a little. Ally threw mashed potato into her hair. -
"Hey, throw it at me, not Hazel!" Theo laughed, blushing more.
