Each person's dinner were very similar, but accounted for allergies and dislikes. Lilla absolutely despised chicken, so she wasn't given chicken. Hazel and Theo were given potatoes, fried chicken and vegetables.

Theo didn't eat at first, not knowing if they were supposed to wait for something or not. He looked around to see if anyone else was eating.

Hazel grabbed a knife and fork from the middle of the table and started eating.

Theo took that as a sign that he could eat as well, so he did the same.

Next to Ally, Tyron (Hazel's third-youngest sibling) was trying to force-feed Ally, but the infant refused.

Theo offered Ally a bit of his potato, hoping she'd eat it. She didn't though, so he just ate it himself.

Hazel chuckled. The whole table has erupted into a cocophony of loud conversations, some were arguments, some were stories and others jokes.

Theo eavesdropped into a conversation between Lilla and Tyron over the better superhero. Lilla was arguing that it was Wonder woman, and Tyron insisted on it being Spider-Man

Hazel's father eventually emerged from the study to join them. He sat at the head of the table, and in the light you could see he had bags under his eyes.

"You alright Mr. Jasper?" Theo asked, noticing the bags under his eyes.

'Yes yes, all's well,' he responded, giving an absentminded wave and started eating.

Theo raised their eyebrows but didn't say anything more, eating some of his vegetables.

Hazel kept silent too.

The rest of the table was still having loud conversations, and Theo chuckled.
"You have a chaotic family." He observed. -
'Yeah, there's a lot of people,' Hazel laughed.
