"Hmm.... I don't know actually." Theo said. "I've never asked anyone out. I mean, there's this one rowboat on the river by this café that I'd probably take someone if I ever asked them out."

"In a non-weird way, thank you." Theo said mockingly.

'Shut up,' Hazel said jokingky, rolling her eyes.

"Never." Theo said, sticking their tongue out.

Hazel poked her tongue out at him too.

"How dare you copy me!"

'Did not!'

"Oh REALLY? It seemed like you did!" Theo said, laughing.

'Well- PFFT!' Hazel scoffed, unable to think of a good comback.

"HA, you have no other argument!" Theo said triumphantly.

'Well...' she said, and they got to her house. 'I'm probably gonna wake up at 3am and think of a good one, so we'll continue this tomorrow.'

"No waking me up at 3 just to tell me a good comeback." Theo disapproved.

'Fine then, when you wake up,' Hazel said, opening the door.

"That's better." Theo compromised, hearing even more children as he entered. "How many kids live here?"
