Ralph stepped over the leaf.

Eli chuckled. "It's just a leaf, it's not going to hurt you!"

'I don't like it.'

"You don't like birds or leaves?" Eli laughed.

'No.'

"Wow, ok."

Ralph continued trotting along.

Eli smiled, finding a coin on the sidewalk and keeping it.

Ralph jumped over a crack in the pavement.

Eli chuckled, doing the same.

Ralph did the same for most of the cracks.

"Are you superstitious or something?" Eli chuckled, walking normally for the rest of the cracks.
