Ralph laughed.

Eli smiled, still walking. "Tell me when you want to turn around, okay?"

'Alright.'

Eli set Ralph down, petting him on the top of the head.

Ralph mewed happily.

Eli laughed, leaning down so they could keep petting him.

Ralph laughed too.

Eli smiled, standing up fully again.

Ralph continued trotting beside them.

There was a leaf on the sidewalk and when Ralph stepped on it it made a loud crunching sound, causing Ralph to freeze in place and look at it at bit more.
(Might just disappear randomly, my computer needs to do an update) -
(K! When you come back I may not be here cause I'll be having dinner, but I'll be back)
Ralph stepped back and poked the leaf. It made another crackling sound, which made him flinch again. -
(Alr!)
"It's alright, it's just a leaf." Eli chuckled. -
'Should leaves be making that sound?'

"Sometimes they do." Eli nodded.
