Callum appeared in his bedroom. He flopped onto his bed.

Eli opened the book, petting Ralph gently as they read.

Callum figured he could fall asleep without his parents noticing he was home, so he did just that.

Ralph started doing something between a purr and a snore, and Eli chuckled at it before reading more.

Callum fell into a light doze before the door opened very loudly. He woke with a start and a shout.
'It's just me,' Callum's father chuckled. -
Ralph must've had some dream, because he started to sleep walk, only on his side.

'Thank God,' Callum mumbled. 'Jeez, I thought you were a burglar or something!'

"How would a burglar even get here?" Callum's dad laughed.

'Maybe mum betrayed us or something,' Callum chuckled. 'I dunno.'

His dad laughed. "Alright. I'll let you sleep now." He said, walking out and shutting the door.

Callum lay back down.

Eli laid down on their bed, careful not to wake Ralph up. They stared at the ceiling.

Callum fell asleep again.

Ralph stretched in his sleep, poking Eli.

Ralph made a meowing sound in his sleep.
