'Yeah,' Ralph said.

Eli glared at Umbreon. "Alright, that's it, get out." They said, pointing at the door. "Even James has only said that, like ONCE."

Umbreon hissed and left. Callum winced. 'I guess we were right about him being a devil,' he said.

"Definitely." Eli said with a sigh. "I'm gonna have to convince my mom to sell him."

Ralph jumped back on the bed. Callum shrugged.

Eli sat back down on the bed as well. "Ralph, you can help me convince my mom to get a new cat, right? Once she gets over the fact that you can talk?"

'That may not be a good idea,' Callum said.
Ralph nodded. 'We'd have to show her the Land, the other cats, and everything. That is if she doesn't call animal control.' -
Eli sighed. "Then how am I supposed to prove that Umbreon called me a you-know-what?"

'Um...' Callum muttered.

Eli sighed. "So you're telling me I can't tell ANYONE that my cat called me the f-slur? What about when I meet a murderer?!"

'We could try,' Callum said with a shrug. 'Maybe your mum won't be so surprised by a talking cat.'

"I'm not going to be the one to find that out!" Ralph protested.

'You're the only day that has any morals whatsoever,' Callum said.
