The cats slowly left Callum's room, and when they did Callum kicked a shirt that was on the ground under his bed. 'See? Very tidy.'

"Yes, minus all the cat hair." Claudia laughed. "Alright, lets find something else to clean up."

Callum smiled triumphantly. His room was indeed a mess, though.

"What's this?" Claudia asked, picking up a science textbook, remembering how Eli explained that Callum went to school now. "Is this for one of your classes?"

'Uh, yeah,' Callum said. 'Science.'

"Are you doing good in your class?" Callum's dad asked.

'I think so,' Callum said. 'I mean, I understand it, does that count?'

"Depends, would your teacher agree?"

'Maybe.'

"Then you're maybe doing good in your classes."

'Yay!'

Claudia laughed. "You better be passing your classes!"

'Or what?'

"Or else you'll be grounded!"

'Dammit,' Callum mumbled. 'Fine, I'll pass my classes!'
