Callum rolled his eyes. 'Fiiiine.'

"Fine as in you'll use an x-men power on me, or fine as in you won't make me shut up?" Eli asked, both grateful they could talk and intrigued how being magicked to shut up would feel.

'The latter. I don't think I can make anybody be quiet.'

"I mean, you can freeze people. That counts as shutting people up." Eli said with a chuckle. "But no freezing me!"

Callum laughed. 'No promises~!' he said in a singsong voice.

"No freezing me!" Eli repeated, eye widening, though they were smiling.

'Fiiiiiiine,' Callum sighed, pretending to be reluctant.

Eli chuckled. "Good. Freeze everyone else."

'Right now?'

They shrugged. "I mean, I meant everyone else INSTEAD of me, but I wouldn't object to everyone being frozen."

Callum chuckled. 'Maybe we should freeze James and leave him here overnight,' he joked.

Eli laughed. "I approve of this decision, although I'm pretty sure his parents would FREAK out."

'They probably would,' Callum chuckled.

"Yeah.." They'd met James's parents before since they were neighbors. They didn't know how he had such awesome parents and turned out so... Not awesome.

'Anyway,' Callum said when the teacher entered the classroom.
