"You walked in here." The man pointed out. "And besides, using myself would've been very stupid if it turned out to not work."

"Only because you threatened me if I didn't" Frankie fought but the look on the man's face told her to shut up.

"Just do what we ask, is that so hard?" The man snapped, his hand motioning to the portal-like thing.

Frankie gave a sigh of exasperation. "You want me to get in there?"

"Yes." The man said in an irritated tone.

"and If I don't?" Frankie knew she was risking it by not doing as he asked but she was scared and she didn't know what that machine would do to her.

The man by now was very frustrated as he walked forward to her. "Then I will get very... Angry. You don't want to risk that, do you?"

Frankie flinched the man too close for her liking. She slowly walked over to the machine and looked back from the man who'd brought the machine to the "portal".

The man gave a slow nod. "What're you waiting for?" He said in an annoyed and slightly bored tone.

Frankie looked around nervously, and spotted a door in the farcorner. Could it be unlocked? If so, this was her chance, but was it worth the risk?

The man narrowed his eyes at Frankie. "Well go on, we've got better things to do than wait for some girl."

Frankie's neck rashed red. She reluctantly took a step forward, her eyes looking to and from the door and the "portal"

The man kept watching her ever move to make sure she didn’t escape.

She decided against it. Reluctantly she stumbled closer and put one foot in the machine then the other. She closed her eyes praying it wouldn't work.

It did work. Frankie's foot seemed to disappear through the glossy portal.
(We could skip to the next day where she comes back to school to add mystery to what happened if you want?)
