Nikolai noticed, and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "It's alright." He whispered before turning his attention back to Terry and Susan.. "And then we just.... Happened."

Natsuki avoided Terry and Susan's gaze, staring at her food.
Susan smiled at Nikolai. 'Well, you seem pretty decent, Nikolai. Natsuki is lucky to have you.' -
"And I'm lucky to have her." Nik said, smiling before turning back to Natsuki. "You ok?" He asked quietly.

Natsuki nodded, trying to push the thoughts out of her head.

Nikolai kissed Nat on the top of the head. "It'll be alright."

Susan smiled. Terry sighed and went back to his newspaper. Natsuki leaned into Nik.

Nikolai ate the rest of his food with his free hand, not moving since Nat was leaning on him.

Natsuki did the same, and managed to calm down and slowly sat back straight in her chair.

Nik washed his plate off and put it in the sink before sitting back down next to Natsuki.

Natsuki finished and Susan took away her plate, setting it in the sink.

Terry walked into another room, and Nik offered Nat his hand.

Natsuki held it. Susan had noticed Natsuki looked sad, but there wasn't much she couldn't about it, she knew. Nikolai seemed the only one in the house who comforted her.
'You can sleep over tonight, Nikolai, if you want,' Susan said. 'And if your parents allow it?' -
Nik looked at Nat. "As long as it's ok with you." He said. "My dad won't care."

Natsuki nodded eagerly.

Nikolai smiled, looking at Susan. "Yeah, I can sleep over tonight."
