Nikolai ate the granola bar he had before zipping the lunchbox back in his backpack.

Nat didn't speak, not being able to find anything interesting to talk about. Instead, she leaned closer to him.

Nik smiled and wrapped his arm around Nat's hip, gently pulling her closer.

Natsuki leaned her head against Nik's shoulder, which didn't strain her neck because of how shorter she was compared to him.

Nikolai smiled and kissed her on the top of the head.

Nat blushed. 'I love you,' she whispered.

"I love you too." Nikolai whispered back.

A small smile played on Nat't lips.

Nikolai offered his hand to Nat so she could hold it.

Nat interlaced their fingers, holding his hand tight.

Nikolai blushed, and squeezed her hand because that's like, his signature move now I guess.

Nat smiled, and they continued cuddling like this until the bell rang. -
Nikolai stood up slowly, still holding on to Natsuki's hand, and he slung his backpack over his shoulder with his free hand.

Natsuki did the same, tucking a curl behind her ear.

Nikolai checked his schedule. He had English, which was only a few classes away.
