Natsuki hurried through the halls, late to her next class. She fastened to a jog, trying to carry all her books without dropping them. -
Nik was already at his history class, fishing through his backpack to try and find the notes he wrote last time.

Late on your first day, Nat thought with irritation for herself. She ran to her history class and practically burst in, cheeks red from the running.

Nikolai noticed Nat walking in-because he moved in already- and did a small wave so that he wasn't too distracting.

Nat didn't see him.
'Tardy, Miss Chong,' the teacher said, and Nat mumbled a sorry before walking to her seat at the back of the class. -
Nik finally found his notes and read through them again to jog his memory.

Nat set her things on the ground and rifled through her bag for her notebook. She didn't have any notes, as it was her first day.
