"Sure," Jacob said, hauling himself onto his feet. He offered a hand to Aria to help her up.

Aria hesitated but took his hand anyway. She wasn't used too the gesture. She led Jacob back into the building and down the stairs.

Jacob followed her through the building. He recognized where they were going, but it was still nice to do it with someone.

Aria swung open the office door and looked around for the office workers. She sighed. "Nobody's here"
She walked around until she saw a pile of paperwork with the basketball players on it. Unless...
Aria reached over the desk and pulled out the folder, she searched through it until she found the football sign-up sheet. "Here" -
Jacob looked at Aria skeptically. "Are you sure you're supposed to be rifling between papers in an office that isn't yours?"

Aria shrugged. "Do you want too join the football team or not?" then added. "If your worried nobody's going too notice and if somebody comes in you won't get in trouble okay? So don't worry Jacob"

"So you don't get yelled at for entering the teacher's and staff's private offices?" Jacob asked before writing his name down on the paper.

Aria laughed lightly. "Better not answer that" she replied then looked at the sheet. "Do you think I should join the girls football team?"

"Then we could scrimmage against each other," Jacob pointed out. That statement also signified that he wanted to be around her some more.

Aria gave a small smile, looking away so Jacob wouldn't see. "Alright then, that'd be great" she replied too bashful too return the compliment.

"Let's go, then, before I get in trouble on my first day because of you," Jacob said.

Aria held her hands up sarcastically. "Alright" she said walking over to the office door.

Jacob followed her out the door. Right when he closed the door, the bell rang, signalling the end of lunch.

"Well I'll see you around I guess" Aria smiled turning around.

"See you," he said with a smile on his face, watching her leave. He suddenly realized he'd been starting and snapped out of it. He started looking for his next class using the map.
It wasn't until the end of the day that Jacob saw Aria again. He was getting things out of his locker when he spotted her and waved her over.
