'Maybe,' she said, thinking. 'It'd be cool if I was a robot, wouldn't it? But then again, I wouldn't be able to do things a human can, like feel emotions and think for myself.' She glanced at Blaze. 'Maybe I'm a cyborg!'

"are any of your limbs metal?" Blaze says, barely holding back a laugh.

'I don't think so,' Amihan chuckled. She looked at her arm. 'It looks fairly human to be,' she laughed.

"It could be metal under the skin." Blaze laughs.

'I had surgery on my arm two years ago,' she said, 'I think the doctors would've said something if it was metal.' Amihan smiled, then burst into laughter.

Blaze nods. "Yea, they would've." He says, then his head snaps towards the door. "I thought I heard a car door shut." He says, jumping up and looking out there window, where his mom was just then coming up the steps. -
'Is your mum home?' Amihan asked, sitting up. She set her controller on the bedside table, then stood next to Blaze, looking out the window. 'She looks flustered,' she noted.

"Probably someone at work. She comes home like that a lot." Blaze says.

'Really?' Amihan enquired, glancing at him. She watched Blaze's mother grab her handbag from the front seat and rush in the house.
