Amihan rolled her eyes. 'Fine, but only because I know my stepfather's at home, and you know how I feel about him,' she replied, stretching her legs out again.

"yay!" Blaze cheered like a little kid and smiled like one too. In his heart, he never really grew up. Didn't want to. So he was at the mental age of 6 when around his friends.

Luckily, Mr Miller was asleep, so he didn't hear Blaze yell. Amihan chuckled and glanced up at the clock. How had an hour already gone by?
She cleared her throat, and when it didn't make Mr Miller wake she coughed, very loudly. He still slept. She sighed. 'C'mon,' she said, gathering her things into her bag. 'There's no waking him up.' -
"escaping from detention?" Blaze raises an eyebrow at Amihan. "you sure?" he asks her, getting his stuff together quickly.

'There's no point just sitting here,' she said, hanging her bag around her shoulder. 'Would your mum still be at work right now?

"probably. her break ends in" he checks the time again "three minutes. so she's probably headed back now." he says.

'Good,' she said, heading for the door. 'If we sprint and climb the gutter pipe up to your room, leaving approximately 26 second before she pulls into the driveway, we can say Mr Miller made a huge mistake and let us out of detention early.' She beckoned for him to follow her.

"How did you just- where did-" Blaze looks at her in confusion, blinking several times. "Okay then. Let's go-"

They sprinted down the school corridor and bursted out the door. Luckily, Blaze lived quite close to the school, so it wasn't lobg before they got to his house. Amihan jogged to the back of his house, looking up at his bedroom window, then at the gutter. 'You wanna go first?' she said.

"Nuh uh. Ladies first. I want to make sure you get up there first so if you fall, which seems unlikely but still could happen, I can catch you and you don't get hurt." Blaze shakes his head.

She gave a small smile. 'Fine.' She placed her hands up high on the pipe and pulled herself up, placing her feet on the small metal pieces poking out.
Don't look down, she thought, taking a breath. Slowly she climbed up and reached out to open Blaze's bedroom window then climbed in. 'See? No problem. You turn, Mr Protective,' she teased, leaning out of the window. -
Blaze wrinkled his nose and climbed up after her, swinging his feet into his bedroom. He walked over to his tv and pulled up his newest game on it. He handed Amihan the other controller.

She smiled. 'What's the game called?' she asked, resting her fingers on the buttons.

"It's called need for speed." Blaze says, entering his player name then looking at her.

Akari glanced at him. 'You OK?' she asked, entering her player name as well.
