Ankoku sighs internally, looking around in the darkness. "So... Why did you become a demonslayer?" She asks, breaking the silence.

“I was content with my life in the forest, but I guess something just called me to it.”

"Ah. That makes sense..." Ankoku says, "i want to train to be a demonslayer because... They killed my only brother. He'd be 10 now." She says, blinking back tears. "I had been working in the girls dormitories and he had been doing yard work, but he never came inside for lunch. Everyone was looking for him... Until one of the older boys found him, torn up and bloody, barely recognizable, near the trees behind the orphange..."

I nod. But suddenly my eyes go wide and my veins on my arms and head pulse.

Ankoku backs up until her back hits a tree, eyes wide and her heart speeding up as she watches Amare transform. -
Akari* autocorrect lol)

I scream in agony as the demon cells convert my own. (Kinda like cancer :P.) My nails and teeth sharpen to points. The irises of my eyes turn a bright yellow and my pupils reduce to slits.

Ankoku holds back from running over and comforting Akari. don't risk it, KoKo... Don't risk it.

I stop screaming and stand there, my hair has fallen over my face. My arms are limply at my sides.

"Akari...?" She whispers, barely loud enough for her to hear.

I suddenly bring my gaze up to her, bare my newly sharp teeth and lung at her.
(Rawr :3.) -
Ankoku jumps up quickly and runs a bit away. "Akari! I'm your friend!" She exclaims, fear in her voice and eyes.

I have lost all sense of reason, I don’t even know what Ankoku is saying! I just have one thin driving me now: Hunger

Ankoku unsheathes one of the swords, making sure the side with the blade id facing away from Akari, and when dhe gets close to Ankoku again, she pushes the handle into Akari's mouth
