"Could I call you Ze?" Gold asked softly. "That name of yours, it's very hard for me to pronounce. May I call you Ze?" He asked, swaying side to side softly.

Mmmm, these nachos good -
"Xishe is such a pretty name." I say. "What does it mean?"
-
Bunger!
-
The fallen angel gave a soft, bass hum at the reply, his wings twitching behind him "it is well met, Xishe.
-
Shelby nodded, watching the nameless thief for a moment. "What an interesting name. Not the first time I've known someone with a complicated name, but it's nice to meet you, Xishe." They greeted, storing everyone's names in their memory so that they didn't forget any.

Bunger?

Bunger!

"Could you explain why we're here already?" Mya urges, impatiently tapping her foot.
-
Xishe peered at Gold curiously, clicking a few times as they considered the nickname. "That would be...acceptable," they decided.
They followed the sound of the thief's footsteps with their ears, sensitive to every sound that was made around them. "You should share, thief. That which does not belong to you is not yours to hoard."
Their eyes twinkled kindly when their name was complimented. "In my tongue, it roughly translates to 'wide head'," they explained with a laugh. "It is not an unkind title. It implies that I am clever, knowledgeable, and open to new ideas and experiences."
Xishe bent down and patted Bunger affectionately. "Hello, small one. I am pleased you could make it."
They straightened up, nodding in acknowledgement to Fracture and Shelby's answers. "The feeling is shared."
Xishe's expression, despite changing very little, seemed to show a touch of irritation at Mya's impatience. They clicked several times in her direction, their ears curved towards her. "Very well."
They drew out a long scroll from the depths of their robes, unfurling it on the table to reveal a map of some sorts. Countless stars and planets shone against the dark paper, but Xishe instantly located the one they were looking for and pointed at it. "This is my home planet, where most of my kind live. However, I have lost all contact with them a few weeks ago. Attempts to approach have proven...impossible."
They sighed. "At least for me. My species is a rare one and lately, we have been disappearing at an alarming rate from bases around the galaxy. There were once many of us spread throughout the universe, now it seems there are very few."
They pointed to a different spot, a smaller planet. "This is one of the bases that our kind were stationed at, the most recent to go quiet. Perhaps learning more about what has happened to the now silent base could provide some insight on what has happened to the others." -
Gold hummed softly, trying to see the map from his spot. "So, you want us to investigate what happened at this base and find out what's happening with your kind?" He tapped his fingers aggressively on the table, swaying more.
-
The fallen angel leaned over to see the map, their 9 foot frame allowing them to easily do so. The paint glowing spots on their wings moved, subtly mimicking the Star-Map the other was showing them. "....things don't just go missing for no reason. It might be dangerus.

Their screen glitched a bit, and it turned completely black for a split second before returning back to normal, now appearing a little upset at the talk about a species disappearing. Regardless of the thoughts running through their processors, the robot stayed silent, but it was obvious by their body language that they were uncomfortable.
Shelby didn't like hearing about people or species disappearing. It reminded them of some of their (mostly destroyed) memories from back when they first started developing a personality. Back when they were starting to become more than just a mindless AI. They shook their head to clear their thoughts.
