Claire saw Emma return once she was satisfied with the number of people playing the game.
"I'm just watching, I'm not playing," she said with a cross of her arms.
"No, you're playing. Actually you're starting the game."
"What!"
"Yep."
"Emma –"
"Go on."
Claire gave Emma a good glare before spitting out, "Fine. Eliza, Truth or Dare?"
Once Eliza told her truth the attention was brought off of Claire, thankfully for her. She just curled up in the armchair she was in and mentally prepared herself for when she might be called on. -
Once it got to Blaze's turn, he spotted Claire curled up in an armchair not far. "Hey Claire, Truth or Dare?" he asks, grinning.

Claire blinked to attention when her name was called. People started whispering, wondering what Blaze Harlen would want with Claire Summers, was she his new target, and so on.
Feeling self-conscious about all the chatter, she answered "Truth." -
Blaze thought for a second. "what do you think of me?" he raised his eyebrows and smiled, and his group howled with laughter, Alina just rolling her eyes and giving Claire a sympathetic smile.

Claire glanced around the room, seeing that almost everyone's eyes were on her. She fiddled with her white dress.
"I barely even know you and most of what I hear are very bad rumors, but rumors nonetheless," she said. "I don't exactly have an opinion." -
Blaze leans back a little, raising an eyebrow at Claire. "if you say so." he smiles, and brushes his hair out of his eyes again.

"Emma truth or dare?" She asked.
"Hmmm let's do another dare," Emma replied.
"Sing Never Gonna Give You Up," Claire said, smiling. "With actions."
Emma made a face. She might like putting herself out there, but she definitely was no singer. And she didn't like dancing either. Reluctantly, she stood up and did it, much at the expense of people's ears.
"Now I have to get you back for that," Emma said with a devious smile. "Claire, truth or dare?"
Claire had just chosen truth, and people were more picky about people choosing truth all the time than dares all the time even though it would only be a second time.
"Go and kiss anyone in this room, on the lips," Emma said.
Claire blinked at Emma with wide eyes then shook her head. "No," she said.
The first refused dare of the night.
"Well now you're just asking for a worse -"
"Emma, you know why I don't want to do that dare," Claire said. She hadn't had her first kiss yet. She wanted something like that to be special.
"Alright. At least sit in somebody's lap, then."
Claire did not hesitate before standing up and not sitting, but purposely falling into Emma's lap.
"OOF!" Emma let out.
"Payback," Claire said with a cheeky smile.
"I meant a guy!"
"You never specified a guy. Now you have to carry a whole person on your legs."
"And I never specified how long for," Emma said as she shoved her friend off her legs. "Now go find a guy to do it on or you haven't completed the dare."
Claire stood up while rolling her eyes, but she was smiling. Emma and her had a very playful relationship.
She looked around the room trying to look for a guy who looked inviting but also didn't look like he was about to try and be inappropriate with her.
Suddenly someone called out, "Do it with Blaze!"
"Yeah, Blaze!"
Others just glared at the people saying that. They didn't support them saying that but they didn't say anything because ultimately it was up to Claire.
But the people kept calling and Claire easily gave in to pressure. So, even though her gut said not to, she did it. She sat on Blaze's lap. -
Blaze clears his throat, a little embarrassed. "comfortable, angel?" he asks, trying to cover it up with a smile.

"Yeah," Claire said, but she really didn't mean it. This was why she didn't like Truth or Dare. She preferred to be a wallflower and let everyone else have the fun. She didn't want to be the center of attention. She didn't like everyone having their eyes on her to see what she'd do.

Blaze smirks, then his eyes soften a bit. "For some reason i don't believe that." He didn't care if he was being watched as well, he was used to it. but he was concerned for Claire.

Claire shrugged. "It's nothing." And so the game continued. As the night went on, more and more people left. The game of Truth or Dare broke up and the party began to calm down.
Claire was by the snack table as she talked with Emma. -
Blaze stood near, but not too near to be considered a bit creepy, with the remaining friends that haven't left yet. Colton elbowed Blaze. "hey, what's up with that Claire girl?" he says, smirking at Blaze. "Nothing. She's just pretty." he rolls his eyes, and Colton shakes his head, not believing it.

"So what's up with you and Blaze?" Emma said with a raised eyebrow.
"Nothing," Claire shook her head. "I accidentally bumped into him earlier. He's been kind of weird though. He hasn't exactly lived up to his reputation."
"Don't tell me you don't think he's any bad," Emma said.
"I'm being cautious," Claire said. "I'm just saying, everyone says he's terrible, but he was acting kind of sweet. It doesn't make sense."
"You're probably going to be his next victim," Emma said. "Be careful. He'll hurt you if you're not." -
Colton and Alina leave, and Blaze pulls out his phone, checking the time. "of course." he whispers as he notices a text from his parents, demanding him to come home. he swipes the notification out, then puts his phone away.

"I should probably be getting home," Claire said, looking at the late night time. "I'll see you on Monday."
"Of course," Emma replied.
Claire snatched a few more snickerdoodles no one grabbed and headed out the door. She ate her cookies as she started her 20 minute walk home. Her mom had the car so she had to walk.
