“Oh? Is it an everyday occurrence for you?” Ethel pondered out loud.

"No, but they happen a little more often than never, in your case," Jaime countered.

“Hmph! Well, I suppose that’s true-“
Ethel was cut off by a sudden sharp feeling in her shoulder. She spun around and came face-to-face with a tall, lanky man who wore a solemn expression on his face. He looked to be in his mid-thirties at least.
“Excuse me, children, but I’m a bit lost. Could you two escort me to a location?” The man asked sheepishly, an unsettling grin settling down onto his face. -
Jaime gently pulled Ethel back, out of the man's grip. He let her go when she was behind him a little. Something about this man was offsetting.
"We need to get going, so unfortunately not," he said. "I can try and give you some directions if you need them, though." -
Ethel shrugged her shoulder away from Jaime and stepped in front of it, shooting him a confused look.
“Jaime, what’re you doing? This man clearly needs help finding his way somewhere.” -
"Not everyone is to be trusted," he muttered to her under his breath.
Jaime turned back to the man. "Where is it you need directions to?" he asked, chosing his words carefully.
