Zumae hummed softly. "Oh. Well, I don't want to fake my own death. But you can't come with me? Maybe I should if that's the only way to get out of here."

"I can be easily tracked. I am only a robot." Azura said. He disjointed his finger so it would fall showing the wires and metal hiding under his synthetic skin

Zumae squeaked, hissing at the sight. "So you'd have to stay here? Can't you remove a tracker?"

"not alone. And as smart as you may be I don't know if you know coding quite as advanced as that. " Azura said pushing his mechanical fingers back into place

Zumae shook their head. "No. I can't help then. Could you at least show me the way out?"

"yes. I can show you the exit. I can help you escape but I can never leave." Azura said. His eyes activated the tear duct modules.

Zumae squeaked quietly. "Okay. Could you tell me about the outside so I know what I need to do?" They asked quietly.

"I can show you the exit but that's about it." Azura said. His voice box whirred in protest of this extended use

Zumae nodded, flipping their ears down. "Okay." They shifted slightly, curling up on the floor. "When is the next time these doors open?"

"your training exercises come tomorrow actually. If I think about it... That might've been why I was in the biochemical ward." Azura said

Zumae hummed, nodding. "Okay. SO I can escape tomorrow?"

"possibly but I don't know if you'll get away far enough" Azura said

“What do you mean?” Zumae asked, tilting their head.

"you see, to truly escape you have to get away from the institution. If you don't get far enough away fast enough he'll catch you fast." Azura said
