Plot
The Verglass clan of vampires hasn't bothered anyone for decades. The townsfolk whisper about them and say that they've adapted to feeding on snow instead of blood and that they have cold hearts and bitter dispositions. The vampires reside deep in the White Forest, atop of a hill in the Verglass manor...
It is a perfectly normal day in when the sun suddenly disappears from the sky. People everywhere are panicking as they experience the neverending night. One spunky adventurer is on the trail find out what happened to the sun so that they can bring back daylight. Their journey leads them north, and they find that they might need more help than they realize. After stumbling into the Verglass manor, the adventurer sees that the vampire family is nothing like the rumors. The family is bit standoffish humans, sure, but they're also all eccentric with unique quirks. The family is overall excited to interact with a human for the first time in ages, so maybe this adventurer can somehow convince the Verglass vampires clan to help them with their mission to get back the sun, and in doing so help them remember what it was like to be warm.
(TLDR: Room full of vampires roleplay, based off a toptier drawfee joke)
This is a group roleplay, you can join as a Verglass vampire or as the adventurer. This is also a fantasy world so don't feel like you have to be limited by the human race (vampire elf, vampire dwarf, let's have fun here) the Verglass are more of a found family than actually related. If you play a vampire you can have a special ability, kind of like the vampires from Adventure Time. For example: flight, invisibility, mind control, to name a few. Bonus points if your ability is ice-related, or has become ice-related over time (like, instead of becoming just invisible you become like a cold breeze, or instead of just flight you can step on snow and ride the winds)

Race: some sort of fae
Age: looks 30 ish
Looks:
Personality: quite, but cheerful. He doesn't really know how to interact with others due to having been isolated for an extremely long time before joining the family
Special ability: he is able to create hyperrealistic illusions using frost that he produces with his breath
Other: his nickname is Lemon:D
Name: Little Light
Gender: sorry, they ate it
Race: Sky Child
Age: appears to be a small child, maybe 8, but is actually much much older
Looks:
Personality: playful and childish, very friendly. They care a lot about others, and will do their best to cheer up those around them
Special ability: they have retained all of their abilities from before they where turned, giving them immunity against sunburn as a result. However, they require light to survive, and if they run out of light they will turn to stone. (Their light levels are shown by a line of stars on their back. If all the stars turn black then they will begin turning to stone after about 30 minutes, depending on how recently they have Fed)
They can use their light to flap their cloak wings; propelling them high into the air, heal others, or restore the lights of other sky children they may come across.
Other: they love cuddles and will drag anyone willing into cuddle piles. -

Looks: Tall as all hell, grey-blue skin, red markings, light grey eyes, long white hair with a red streak
Personality: Motherly, kind, intimidating at first glance but actually nice (unless you mess with her clan, then she really is intimidating)
Special ability: Super strength, and when she breaks something ice spikes out from the wreckage
Other: Mother hen :)

Race: Half-wisp
Age: Looks 11 or 12 years old
Looks: Grey skin, wispy hair that resembles blue flames, white dress
Personality: Skittish, always jumpy and running away from something, scared of everything
Special ability: If she touches a person she will freeze over (cold to the touch, icy) and see visions of their future. Some visions are long, others are just flashes, but she's frozen over until her premonitions stop. She can also alter the future she sees by helping out the person
Other: Precious
And since I'm not gonna let myself go insane with characters but I also want the house to be filled with people, here are characters that can be controlled by anyone and count as like NPCs:
ā¢Anna and Beth, changeling "twins" who can read minds. (They're not twins, they're one person who's soul has been split in half) They speak at the same time and they're the creepy ones of the family
ā¢ Warrin, human haunted by a demon, can become invisible or transparent/intangible (as well as change shape- though that's the demon's power, so you can tell when he's changing form he's losing control/focus) the edgy dramatic teen
ā¢Ariana (she's just an eye. Addams family hand style, Ariana is a body part but we still love her ok. Careful not to step on her, it takes a while for her to reform and it's not a pretty sight) š -
