Sakura gasped. "A-Are you ok?" She asked. "Here. Let me help."

Devin felt a stab of pain in their head. "Let's go inside." He mumbled, climbing to his feet, ignoring the burning pain in his leg.

"Ok." Sakura said opening the door. "Let's hope your ok. Maybe I should take you to the doctor."

"NO!" Devin yelled, backing away. "Please no..." He whimpered, only to fall when they put too much weight on their leg.

"You have to. They'll only do a small checkup. But that will be all. I promise." Sakura said helping him to his feet. "And I never break a promise."

Devin whimpered. "I'm fine. Just let me rest for a bit. I'll be okay."

"Ok. If you say so." Sakura said going to the kitchen. "I hope you get better."

Devin nodded, making his way to the couch. They collapsed and curled up on the couch. They covered his face with his wings and just lay there.

Huge time skip to the next day lol.)
Sakura woke up early the next day and smiled. She saw Devin on the couch still asleep. He looks so cute. She thought. -
Devin purred a bit and rolled over. Their dreams were all about Sakura and he pawed the couch in his sleep, snoring a little.

Sakura giggled. "He's a good boy. A very good boy." She told herself.

Devin whined a bit reaching out and mumbling her name. "Sakura? Are you okay? Please don't leave me..." They groaned a bit, tossing back and forth.

Sakura petted him softly so she doesn't wake him up. "Good boy. I love you." She said. She then went to the kitchen to warm up some breakfast. And breakfast was brownies.

Devin instantly settled down. They rolled over a bit more and curled up like a puppy would. He caught the scent of brownies, but couldn't wake up. Or wouldn't.

"Oh Devin!" Sakura called. "I have brownies!" She yelled. She walked to him and petted him.
