Devin smiled happily. "Okay! I promise I'll be good! No demon episodes or anything." He said, a low rumbling purr starting in his throat.

"Alright then!" Sakura said walking out the door. "What do you want from the store?"

Devin tilted his head. "Chocolate? Or even ... ice cream?" They asked, blinking cutely.

"How about...... Chocolate ice cream?" Sakura asked. "Maybe you want that."

Devin nodded. "Yes! Please! I think I'd like that." He exclaimed happily, purring a little louder. "Thank you for letting me come with you!"

"It's not a problem at all. Sakura said as then reached the store. "Come on boy."

Devin smiled happily when she told him that. "Okay! What do you need to get?"

"Ummmmmmm..... Flour, eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and maybe some chocolate syrup." Sakura said. She got a cart and started towards the flour isle.

Devin nodded, following her. It had been a while since they had been inside a store. Usually he just found food out of garbage piles or anything else he could find.

"Ok, so. What I'm going to make is going to be delicious." Sakura said grabbing all-purpose flour. "And I'm no liar."

Devin jumped a bit, coming out of his thoughts. "What're you making anyway?" They asked, tail wagging a little.

"I'm making a cake and something else but it's a surprise." Sakura said winking. "So yeah."

"Oh. Okay! Could I help?" Devin asked shyly. "I didn't get to do these things a lot when I was young." They sighed quietly and flicked their ears around, trying to catch everything that was going on in the store.

"Sure." Sakura said smiling. "Yes you may help.

Devin smiled, and let his eyes close. He calmed himself and relaxed the pain before anything could happen. He kept the demon at bay by calming himself.
