"The demon?" He frowned. "Then why aren't I a human again?" He cried, starting to sob.

"I don't know" Sakura said shakily. "I don't know at all."

Devin sobbed and buried his face in her neck. "Sakura?" They asked reluctantly, avoiding her eyes, yet wanting to see them at the same time.

"Yeah?" Sakura answered. "I love you." She said kissing his lips.

Devin whimpered, kissing back. "I was just gonna ask that." He started trembling again and whined in pain. "My wings hurt...." They whined, trying to scratch at them.

"That's a sign that their going away!" Sakura told him. "So don't scratch tem!"

Devin became more upset, whining and crying in pain. "Put me down... Please..." They tried flapping their wings but were only meet with intense burning pain.

Sakura put him down. "I love you." She said kissing him again.

Devin nodded, squirming and trying to scratch his wings. "The pain won't leave!!" They cried, tears choking their voice. "I need to scratch them! It hurts too much!!"

Sakura scratched his wings for him. "There you go." She said with a smile.

They whimpered, sighing a little as the pain grew a little less. The wings grew a little smaller and smaller until they were about a foot long.

"Does that feel better?" Sakura asked. "Because it looks better."

They sighed. "Yeah. It does." Devin flapped his wings a little and shifted back to Sakura. "I love you too." He mumbled, hiding his face in Sakura's neck.

Sakura smiled. "I love you more." She said as she gave him a kiss on the head.

Devin started happily purring and the horns shrank down to little four pronged antlers, like a little buck's. "I can't believe you love me at all." He mumbled.
