Cats shifted back to human form and flicked a shadow flame into the palm of their hand. “Tommy? You ever seen fire that you don’t feel?” They asked, leaving out the fact that you don’t feel it at first but it’ll hurt like hell later.

Tommy purposely fell over, wheezing loudly.
"I don't think he cares," Phil said, stating the obvious. -
Cats hissed. “I don’t think XD has any rules against me giving mortals burns that take months to heal as long as it’s not lethal.”

"What the f----" Tommy stopped laughing abruptly, nervously looking up at Cats.
"Not yet," XD said, reappearing. -
“Yeah, look, not yet, he admits, no rules against it-“ Cats said with a slightly mischievous grin.
Pandas popped up. “Hey, wait, no, fire is my thing, you’re not burning my relatives-“
Cats blinked. “We’re related and you literally just put me in lava, b----.” -
"Phil, save me-" Tommy squeaked, standing up and rushing behind him.
"Tom, you're such a child-" Phil said with a laugh. -
Pandas disappeared, he’d get revenge later.
Cats grinned. “And they call ME a scaredy-cat, HA.” -
"Because you're an actual f---ing cat-" Tomy stated.

Cats blinked. “And you’re scared of shadow fire, pfftttttt.”

"Because it can hurt me, and I can't reform," Tommy retorted

Cats edged around Phil to try and get to him. “It’s not lethal!” They said, flicking it around.

"But it's gonna f---ing hurt!" Tommy said, screeching as he darted away, over to Techno.

“I suppose it CAN be lethal, but not in this amount. And did I mention how you can’t feel it for the first couple of minutes?” They asked, glancing at Techno slightly nervous- this one had no problem killing them.

"Don't touch him," Techno warned. "When he's around me, at least."
"WHAT THE f----" Tommy exclaimed, chuckling nervously. -
Cats blinked. “…I can very easily put you back in your house, Techno, I have portals and you know it. You also know that I’m very bad about giving you guys rough landings and stuff. So, could you, uh, move outta the way?” They turned their attention back to Tommy. “…Are you scared-?”
