Skeppy let out a laugh, rolling his eyes.
"Always," Dream whispered, somewhat zoned out. -
Bad looked back down at the amulet, tapping the surface. He could feel the power, but couldn't tell if it was going to be good or bad.
Gold tilted his head to the side, watching Bad. He couldn't see the demon's face, but his eyes were narrowed. "Bad, is something wrong?"
"You could've told me sooner, Dream. I would've believed you." George whispered, leaning towards Dream. -
Skeppy watched, getting a little nervous by what Gold said.
"I didn't know that at the time," Dream muttered, tilting his head slightly. -
Bad jumped slightly. He sighed. "I-I'm fine. Just confused on how this works."
Gold frowned. "Your eyes are narrowed, and you only do that when you're upset. Not to mention the fact that you just jumped when I spoke to you now."
"But you could've told me. You couldn't tell I liked you?" George asked, smiling gently. -
"What's wrong?" Skeppy asked quietly, looking over to Bad.
"No, I'm as blind as a brick," Dream said with a chuckle. "With and without the mask." -
Bad groaned, dropping the amulet. "It's useless. I think the only way to do this is to stop trying to figure it out and just use the thing."
Gold snorted. "Bad, you're avoiding Skeppy's question."
"Really? 'Cause I don't think so. Is this the first time you've really noticed me?" George asked, leaning fully on Dream. -
"Yeah, Bad, please tell me," Skeppy pressed.
"Really noticed you?" Dream said, reaching a hand up to tap his mask, and pausing for a moment when he realized it wasn't there. "I've always somewhat guessed you have, but this is the first time I've had some sort of hope that you do." -
"I can't do this. I have a feeling that your father was evil, Gold. No way a good demon would use this. It's too powerful. I don't even want to touch it, but I want to help you, Gold." Bad touched the amulet, wincing heavily as he did. "It hurts........."
Gold's eyes widened. "What does, Bad? Why are you in pain?"
George smiled. "You finally have hope that I love you. Because I do. I've loved you for a while now." -
"Are you okay?" Skeppy asked.
"Same here," Dream said with a smile. -
Bad shuddered. "I- no. I-I can't do this. It-it hurts so much. I can't do this........." Bad winced and dropped the amulet again. He turned his hand over, staring at his palm. He closed his eyes, forcing back the tears of distress and pain.
Gold glanced at Skeppy, then moved so he was sitting in front of Bad. "Bad, look at me. What's going on? Please tell us. We're worried about you." He slipped his hand under Bad's chin, pulling his face up. "Bad, open your eyes and tell us what's wrong."
George smiled. "How long, Dream? How long have you loved me?" He asked, leaning his head against the taller man's chest. -
Skeppy moved over so he was next to Bad, glancing between him and Gold.
"Uh," Dream thought for a moment. He looked down at George, smiling a little as he hesitantly picked up his hand and started playing with the brunette's hair. "Since you became my advisor." -
Bad shuddered, opening his eyes. He looked at Gold, quickly dropping his gaze. He turned his hand over, showing the cut on his palm. "That amulet's evil. I - I want to help you, Gold. Really. But I-I can't. That thing's evil."
Gold ran his fingers over the cut. "How'd you get this? It's your other hand, the one that wasn't slit open by Schlatt."
"That long? And you didn't tell me. Dream, I've loved you basically since I met you. You're a great person, Dream." George said quietly, gently rubbing his head on Dream's chest. -
"Did the amulet do this to you?" Skeppy asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"If you say so," Dream mumbled, almost not audible. He felt so vulnerable without the mask. With the mask, he didn't have to care about his facial expressions, how his stupid face looked, but now he did, and he hated it. -
Bad nodded. He picked it up again, turning it over. "Right here. There's something right here." He said, tapping the side of the amulet. "I grabbed it wrong, and it cut me. It hurts tough. It burns."
Gold looked at the side. "F**k. The blade. I forgot that was there. It's a poisoned blade that pops out when the side is tapped just right. Bad, I'm sorry for this."
"Dream, what's wrong?" George asked, pulling his head up, looking into Dream's eyes. -
"It's poisonous?" Skeppy asked. "Gold, is Bad okay?"
"Nothing," Dream said, averting his gaze and giving a small smile.
