"I don't either, Bad!" Skeppy exclaimed quietly.
"Why wouldn't I?" Dream said. "I have a prime opportunity."
"Night Wilbur," Tommy muttered, Tubbo doing the same. "What is his problem?"
"I dunno, big man, but it'll be fine," Tubbo said with a sympathetic smile, continuing to hold Tommy up. -
"Maybe we could try an alley or something. We can't go back to the stage area with him like this." Bad said, gently pushing Gold away. "Do you know any alleys around here that no one's really in?" He asked Gold quietly, brushing the smaller boy's bangs out of his face.
Gold shrugged. "There's one not too far from here." He sighed, brushing the tears off his face.
"Yes, but what's the use? You have Pogtopia. Why do you want Manberg?" George asked, rubbing his head against Dream's shoulder.
Wilbur sighed, looking around the city. "I don't want this place to be destroyed again. I hope I made the right decision."
Ranboo looked at Lemon and smiled. "How do you feel about this?" He asked xem. -
"Lets go, then," Skeppy said quietly.
"I can control more people," Dream stated, looking over and watching the brunette. "No one would suspect it." -
Gold sighed, picked another flower, and walked away. He tucked the flower behind his ear and bumped in t the door frame. He cursed quietly and shook himself trying to clear his head. I think Bad's right. This place is f**king with my head.
Bad sighed, walking after Gold. "Skeppy, I'm scared for him. He's too young to have gone through this. I don't even know how to help him."
"But why? You don't really need to control more people." George said quietly.
"I'm fine with it. George is a good leader. Are you really moving here, with Tubbo, Ranboo?" lemon asked, xeir ears flicking back. -
"I know Bad," Skeppy said quietly. "We'll figure this out."
"I don't need to, but I want to," Dream explained. -
"I hope so." Bad sighed.
Gold found the alley, kicked at the old wood fence that stood in front of it. He waited for Bad and Skeppy before flipping himself over the fence. "You guys, coming?"
"Why?" George persisted. -
"Yep," Skeppy said, swinging himself over the fence.
"Because why not?" Dream said. "Everyone is secretly going to bow to me, George. That sounds amazing." -
Bad sighed, swung over the fence, then stared at Gold. "Gold, I have no idea how to prove this, but you're alive."
"Stop saying that. I'm dead. You can't prove otherwise." Gold said, turning away.
"You just want the power, don't you?" George asked. -
"How can you prove that you're dead?" Skeppy asked.
"Yeah, that's what I've been saying," Dream replied. -
"I-I don't know." Gold said. "I don't know anymore!!! I just don't know!!! I - I ... I'm not sure at all." He cried, starting to cry again. He leaned back against the wall, sobbing.
Bad looked at Skeppy. "Are you saying that you don't know how many lives you have? Or that you want to ..." He didn't have the courage to finish his sentence. With Gold in this mood, he didn't know what asking that question would make the smaller boy do.
"Why is power such a thing for you?" George asked quietly. "Why do you need it so much?" -
Skeppy frowned, helping Gold sit down and sitting next to him.
"I never said I needed it," Dream stated. -
(I dunno if I should feel bad. Gold's having a mental breakdown.)
Gold shuddered, leaning against Skeppy. "I don't know, Bad. I- I only know that Technoblade killed me twice when I was younger. I just ... don't know."
Bad sighed. He sat on the other side of Gold. "It's fine. I'm just trying to make sure you are okay. I'm worried about you."
"You want it. Why?" George said, looking up into Dream's face. -
"It's okay to feel that way, Gold," Skeppy said quietly. "But we know that you're alive. You don't have to believe us, but you are."
"So I can control everyone," Dream stated, looking away from George. -
Gold looked at Bad and Skeppy. "I ... I'm sorry. I'm sorry you guys had to see this."
Bad frowned. "You shouldn't be sorry. It's not your fault."
"Dream, what's the point of controlling everyone if we're trying to not be tyrannical?" George asked. -
"Yeah, it's fine, don't worry about it," SKeppy said with a small smile.
"Well, I can take it," Dream said. "And bend it to my power. And no one would know."
