Lemon watched Gold, glancing up at Bad occasionally. "The poison you created from blood vines and other completely evil substances?? That's what Bad has in that cut??" Xey snorted, glancing at the amulet lying on the ground.
Bad felt Skeppy grab his hand. He whined again, laying his head down. He felt strangely cold. His hand still burned, but the rest of his body was cold. He could hear but couldn't see. Everything was blurry, turning black. He started hyperventilating, trying to catch his breath.
Gold shook his head. "I didn't create it. My father did. But yes. That's what was on the blade, and therefore that's what's in Bad's bloodstream." He cursed again, glancing down at the poison hooked on his belt. "It's a purple liquid. How come I can't find it????"
George scoffed. "No one's going to sneak up on us Dream. Why would they?" -
"Stop fighting you two, please," Skeppy said, gently grabbing Bad's cheek and cradling his head. "Gold, do you need help?"
"I don't know, I just like to be prepared," Dream said with a shrug. -
Lemon snorted again. "Oh, he needs help. But probably not in the way you can help him." Xey pointed to the bag. "Is that it?"
Bad whimpered. He heard Gold talking but couldn't make out what he was saying. He moaned quietly, wincing in pain. "It ... hu-hurts ... ssso-so ...mu-much." He managed to whisper, choking on each word.
Gold shook his head. "No. That's pink, you colorblind cat. Purple. Light purple. Like lavender." He said, pulling a vial out of his bag. He studied the potion carefully before exclaiming, "Ay caramba!!!! I found it!! Skeppy, I found it!!!!!!!!!"
George smiled. "Okay." George nestled his head into Dream's neck. Sighing, he closed his eyes. -
"I know Bad, it's okay," Skeppy said. "Give it to him, then!"
"Are you tired?" Dream asked quietly. -
Lemon leaned back, watching the others. Xey tilted xeir head to the side, calculating the amount of poison needed to send Bad over the edge like he was.
Bad winced, everything turning black. He moaned, shifting nervously. He felt weak. Weaker than he had ever felt before. He could barely remember why he got hurt.
"No. You give it to him. Skeppy, you have a wonderfully calming effect on him. If you can get him to drink this, he'll be fine." Gold said, handing Skeppy the potion. "I hope it works." He muttered under his breath.
"A little." George whispered, rubbing his head gently against Dream's neck. -
"Hey, Bad," Skeppy said quietly. "This'll make you feel better, c'mon, drink it please."
"Sleep, then," Dream murmured. -
Lemon watched silently. He'd better drink it. Xey thought.
Bad whined. "Wha-what is it?" He tried to see what it was, but he could only see a dull glow.
Gold watched in fear. "Bad, please." He whispered nervously.
George sighed. "Will you wake me up when we need to go back to Manberg?" He asked, closing his eyes again. -
"It's a potion, Gold said it'll heal you, c'mon," Skeppy said, holding it to Bad's lips.
"Of course," Dream said. -
Bad whimpered, opening his mouth slightly. He pressed his tongue against the opening of the vial. He sighed, drinking it quickly.
Gold broke into a grin. He drank it! Yes!
George smiled. "Goodnight, Dream. I love you." He whispered, sighing gently and starting to fall asleep. -
"Good job, Bad," Skeppy said quietly, helping Bad drink the rest of it.
"Love you too," Dream whispered back. -
Bad sighed, leaning completely on SKeppy. "My head hurts." He whimpered, glancing over at Skeppy.
Gold grinned, dropping to the ground next to Bad. "Oh, my God! Bad, I'm so sorry!!!! I didn't mean to hurt you!" He cried, gently hugging the demon.
George exhaled, falling asleep, nestling closer to Dream. -
"I bet Bad," Skeppy said quietly, wrapping his arms around the demon.
-
"You two are going to kill me with all of the love you're giving me!" Bad cried weakly, coughing.
"Hey, at least you're alive!!!" Gold cried, releasing Bad. "I'm sorry. You don't need to do anything with that demonic piece of s**t. Let's burn it or whatever. I'll find another way to revive my family."
"That's why Bad got hurt?? You were trying to revive your family?" Lemon asked, narrowing xeir eyes at Gold. -
"He wasn't trying, Bad was just keeping an amulet away from Gold, and he forgot there was a poisonous blade on the side," Skeppy said, playfully glaring at Gold.
-
Bad sighed. "Language, Gold." He whispered quietly. "Will you stop arguing about this? Please?" He whined, looking up at Skeppy.
"Ugh, Skeppy! I haven't seen this amulet in years. I only knew about the blade, the poison and the cure because I caught myself on it when I was little." Gold snorted, rolling his eyes at Bad.
Lemon sighed. "But Gold was trying to revive his family. That's obvious by the flower stuck in his hair. He told me those were his mother's favorite flowers."
