"It's okay. Ju-just cold-- wa-water's cold." Quackity whined, shivering again. "My wings get colder than you'd think, even though they're really warm."
Bad nodded. "It was an assumption anyway. I'm glad that it isn't. I just worry about both of them, you, their realtionship, ours." -
“I know, I understand,” Sapnap said quietly.
“I know, I'm sorry you worry,” Skeppy gently squeezed Bad’s hand. -
Quackity sighed, humming quietly, feeling relaxed. "That feels good. It's relaxing." He let his wings relax, leaning forward a little.
Bad sighed, smiling down at Skeppy. "It's alright. I think it's in my nature. I trust you though when you say it'll be okay, as you're usually right." -
“I’m glad to hear that,” Sapnap said.
“I’m always right-“ Skeppy said with a chuckle. -
Quackity sighed. "He would never be this gentle. He wasn't bad at first, but he was never gentle with my wings."
Bad smiled. "You usually are."
Lem turned, frowning. "Which horses are yours, guys?" Xey asked as the small group reached the stables. -
“I will always be as gentle as I can,” Sapnap said, pressing a kiss onto his head.
“Uh, those as the end,” Skeppy said, pointing. -
Quackity flushed, giggling a little. "He took advantage of the fact that I slept with them open. He'd mess with them a lot and I hated it, because it would hurt." He sighed. "But you aren't even aggressive about it, like he was. You're so gentle-"
Lem nodded, shifting Gold a little more. "Should I wake him up?"
Bad frowned. "Uh-- maybe let him sleep?" -
“Of course, I would never,” Sapnap said gently.
“Yeah, I can carry him with me if you want,” Skeppy offered. -
Quackity shifted a little, humming. "He'd grab them sometimes, and I didn't like it, because he'd always be rough. I broke the left one once because he grabbed it harshly and it broke. You might be able to feel it on the left. He ripped my feathers out a couple times. Stuff like that. I've always been sensitive to touch like that."
Lem hissed. "No. I'm gonna hold him." Xey hugged Gold tight, getting defensive.
Bad frowned. "Okay! You keep him. It's alright." -
“I’m so sorry that happened,” Sapnap frowned. “They’re all wet now.”
“Okay, okay sorry,” Skeppy held him free hand up. “I was just offering.” -
"Cold-- so cold...." Quackity mumbled, shuddering a little. He turned a little, reaching for the shampoo. "Just rub a little of this in, front and back. Hopefully it works."
Lem snorted, going towards the end of the stables, jumping when one of the horses neighed at xem.
"Skeppy, what do you wanna do for dinner tonight? I'll make it with you." Bad said quietly. -
“Alright,” Sapnap nodded. “We can go warm up and cuddle after this, okay?”
“Uh, I don’t care,” Skeppy said with a nod. “You can choose-“ -
Quackity nodded, shifting his wings up slightly. "Schlatt would never have offered that. He would've probably gotten drunk after and done stupid s**t, most likely starting arguments or hurting me." The shorter male sighed, staring at his reflection in the mirror. "You never saw me before my scar." He mumbled, instinct making him want to close his wings.
Bad smiled, gently squeezing Skeppy's hand. "Okay. Now question is, what would Gold want?" -
“You’re still very handsome, though,” Sapnap said.
Skeppy paused. “Pasta..?” He said hesitantly. -
Quackity blushed deeply, giggling a little. "You really think that?" He asked, trying to avoid closing his wings.
"We could do that. Maybe sausage with it?" Bad asked, quietly, letting go of Skeppy's hand to help Lem with the horse, since xey had backed nervously away from the horses.
