Sapnap followed, closing the door a little but not shutting it.
Skeppy smiled back at Bad. -
Quackity sighed, spreading his wings carefully. "Uh, if - if you run your hand across the top, and move it down a little, that's the bone. uh, usually to do what I'm going to show you, I start under the bone, just under it." He showed Sapnap what he meant and started preening his wings again.
Bad pressed a kiss to Skeppy's forehead. "Let's go home, Zak. I'm ready." -
Sapnap gently ran his hand on where Quackity said. “Okay.”
Skeppy smiled. “Alright.” -
Quackity blew out a breath, curling his fingers and pulling his hand gently down his wings. "This is basically preening. Getting any loose feathers out. You can try it if you want. I'll let you." He said quietly, smiling at Sapnap.
Lem shifted Gold a little, heading to the door. "C'mon you two. Let's go." Xey smiled at Bad and Skeppy, gently kissing Gold's head.
Bad smiled back, squeezing Skeppy's hand one more time before he followed Lem. -
Sapnap nodded, copying Quackitys movements.
Skeppy followed Bad, smiling. -
Quackity smiled, relaxing. "Usually, I just wet them enough to allow the soap to work, because they take forever to dry. So a small towel or something." He reached for a little towel and wet it carefully. Frowning, he gently pressed it to his wings, letting out a yelp as the water touched them.
Bad smiled at Skeppy. "That went rather well. I'm glad it did. I don't know what could've happened if both lost their tempers." -
“Hey, you okay?” Sapnap sais quickly, immediately concerned.
“I know, I’m so relieved,” Skeppy said. -
Quackity shivered, nodding. "Cold, that's all. The water's cold. I don't like it. I never do." He exhaled, trying to ignore the cold and continued running the towel across his wings.
"I hope they never break up. I don't know what Gold would do." Bad said quietly, rubbing the inside of Skeppy's hand. -
“Do you want me to do it?” Sapnap asked softly.
“I know, that wouldn’t be good,” Skeppy whispered. -
Quackity hesitated before handing Sapnap the towel and nodding. "Su-sure. Not too much pressure, and not too much in one spot." He exhaled quietly, trying to regulate his anxiety.
Bad shook his head gently, glancing over to Lem. "Still, I worry about them both. Gold seems to worry more and more about losing people, and Lem just seems off somehow."
Gold whimpered, twitching. "Lem...." He whined, nervously twisting in Lem's arms.
Lem bit xeir lip. "H-hey, shh, I'm right here." -
“Are you sure?” Sapnap said gently.
“I think Lem is just off- well like I don’t think xey like the panic attacks,” Skeppy said. “And I think xey’re scared that one like the last one will happen again.” -
Quackity nodded, leaning forward a little to grab the counter. "Yeah, yeah, I'm sure Front and back." He added, tilting his head a little to smile at Sapnap.
"I think we all are." Bad said quietly. "He's never had one like that, being completely unresponsive to anything. I just worry, for Gold and his health, for Lem, and for their relationship." -
Sapnap nodded with a small smile, gently doing what Quackity told him to. “I love you so much, you know that?”
“I know,” Skeppy whispered. “But like Quackity said, it takes time.” -
Quackity smiled, chuckling. "You tell me every day. I love you enough to die for, Sap, really." He shivered a little at the water, letting out a quiet hiss.
Bad sighed. "True. It will take time, but what happens if in that time Gold doesn't get better but gets worse? What if it's us being around that makes the nightmares worse or the panic attacks happen more?" The demon squeezed Skeppy's hand and frowned. -
“I’m glad you know,” Sapnap said with a smile. “Sorry, you’re okay.”
“I don’t think that’s true,” Skeppy shook his head.
