"I left SOME! I'm not done yet-" Clay said with a laugh.
"Wait, where's George?" Karl asked as he made his way over to the cart.
Clay sighed. "He went back to the car,"" -
"Oh," Nick said, lowering his voice. "Is he okay?"

"No, he'd not f***ing okay-" Clay retorted.
Karl flinched at Clay's tone and glanced over at Nick. 'Uh oh' he mouthed. -
Nick frowned, glancing at the floor. "Oh- okay, sorry. Uh, let's just- should we get all of this and go?"

"I was gonna gt ice cream, do you know what kind he likes?" Clay asked.

"Uhh," Nick paused. "He seems like a- a strawberry sort of guy."

Clay nodded and walked over to the front of the cart.
"Why'd he leave?" Karl asked quietly. Karl forgot he was recording and dropped his hands to his sides. -
Nick blinked, not knowing the answer himself.

"Because Matthew's f---ing gotten to him!" Clay practically shouted. "He keeps flinching when ANYONE goes near him because he's been hit so many damn times! He's barely eating, he wouldn't do s--- at the beach, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he either didn't get enough sleep tonight or way too f---ing much!!" Clay turned away from Karl and sighed.
"O-Oh," Karl mumbled. -
Nick pressed his lips into a thin line, sighing. "Okay- let's just get the ice cream and get out of here."

(sorry to butt in but ur both here and I wanted to say, I'm back.)

Clay nodded. "It's just frustrating. He deserves so much more than he knows. He's perfect, man. So f---ing perfect. I-I just want to take his pain away but I can't and it- and it kills me-" He said sadly.

"I know, Clay," Nick said softly. "But- we'll help him through the pain, and it'll just take a little time." -
(hello again human)
"Dude he deserves the world, and I swear on my life I'd give it to him if I could," Clay said as he pushed the cart into the next aisle.
"Aww," Karl said softly. -
"We know," Nick said with a smile, following.
