"I don't know," Lauren said, looking down.

"YOU HAVE TO KNOW. YOU DON'T JUST DO THINGS FOR NO REASON." Echo shuddered. "WE SHOULD PROBABLY GET OF THE STREETS NOW. THE TWO OF US." They added, in case Lauren didn't understand.

(Ok could you please keep to the emboldened letters instead of doing all caps? It seems like he's constantly screaming at her.)
"Okay," Lauren nodded. "Where do you want to go?" -
"Anywhere that isn't here is fine." Echo sighed.

"Okay," Lauren said, an idea of where to go popping in her head. "Follow me." And she started walking.

Echo jumped to their feet, and followed Lauren. Where the hell was she going?

There was a little wooden playground that nobody went to anymore. She and Devin would go all the time when they were little. It was rather closeby too.

Echo's eyes widened. They started hyperventilating. "Why? Why did you take me here?" For the first time in 3 years, their voice didn't echo. They sounded ........... normal.

Lauren looked at him when she heard his voice back to the way she knew it. "It's a quiet place, no one will be around. I come and visit here sometimes."

Echo just stared at Lauren. This playground, it was ........... calming. They felt strangely normal, almost like they weren't possessed.
