Toby hurried after him, catching up. "Why must you always walk so quickly?" he questioned. "we aren't in a hurry are we?"

No, I just walk fast" he responded with a chuckle" that and I dont want to risk getting hit by a car"

Toby looked around at the word car, then relaxed slightly. "I guess getting hit with a car wouldn't be the most pleasant experience," he replied.

Jack shook his head, choosing to ignore the pause before Toby said something. He knew toby's story, what happened to his sister, he guessed that he expected for toby to be wary at the mention of them

Toby relaxed more when they were farther away from the road. He took one last look at it, before looking away quickly. It was silent, and all that could be heard was his footsteps. But not Jack's, he realized. He couldn't hear them. He looked at Jack questionably. "How do you walk so quietly?" he asked curiously. Walking in silence bothered him, and now that he had someone to talk to, he wasn't gonna miss the opportunity.

Toby reached the portal, and walked through first, waiting for Jack on the other side.

Jack followed, stepping through the portal. " hey toby,are you going to stay with us for the night? " he asked as they were walking back

Toby paused as if thinking but he already knew the answer.
"I guess so...I mean I'm already near the mansion, so I might as well." he pretended to be kind of unsure, but he was positive he wanted to stay the night. -
Cool,um, you might want to sleep in my room, BEN decided to use it as another game room" he said with a chuckle

Toby smirked. "Sounds like something he would do."

Yeah,he hides there whenever the master is mad at him as well" he added, walking up to the house
