Toby followed him, but not before quickly stealing a pixie stix he spotted on the counter.

Jack walked back up the stairs, walking into the living room and hearing Liu and Jeff fighting again. He just rolled his eyes and sat down -
"Really? Again?" Toby sat down beside him. "What are they even fighting about this time?"

I have no-" he paused, Liu cutting him off" YOU ARE ALWAYS CHEATING AT CARDS AND I HATE IT" he shouted. Jeff responded with" NO I DONT, YOU ARE JUST TERRIBLE AT CARDS!". Liu tackled him, pinning him to the floor and pulling hidden cards out of Jeff's pocket," you have always been a bad liar brother" Liu said with a click of his tongue, Jeff shoved him off and stood up, flipping him off and storming upstairs

"Well that was interesting," muttered Toby. He looked at Jack. "Do you have any plans for today-" he paused, remembering it was nighttime. "Tonight, I mean-"

Not really" he responded"might go out to find some food". He leaned back, pulling down his hood, revealing his auburn hair and ears like an elf

Toby blushed ever so slightly. He always found Jack's ears cute. He was now even starting to find Jack as a whole cute- He shook the thoughts out of his head. Finding someone's ears cute? That was creepy, right? He didn't even know anymore. He looked down. "I-I would like to go with you- Anything's better than trying to get some sleep." he exaggerated the 'trying.' -
Jack chuckled" of course, I don't mind" he said, running his fingers through his hair. One thing he liked about his transformation was his voice, it sounded like two people were talking at once, and he thought it was cool

Toby had always thought that Jack sounding like two people talking at once was pretty awesome but never pointed it out. Thinking about Jack made him realize he was also hungry, so he got up to go look for snacks.

Jack leaned against the back of the couch, putting his hands underneath his head like a pillow

Toby found a bag of chips and returned to the couch, smirking when he saw Jack chilling.

Jack's ear twitched and he looked in Toby's direction, tilting his head slightly

"I found chips!" exclaimed Toby. He began to munch on them, trying not to be noisy.

Jack made grabby hands towards him, sure for the most part he ate kidneys, but he could still eat and enjoy normal food

Toby put the bag between them, happy to share.
