Felix held Kai close, rubbing her back with one hand and keeping an arm around her waist, holding her close to him.

she started to sing a lullaby her mother sang to her in irish, a small lilt appearing in her voice

Felix smiled, listening to Kai's humming as he held her close, continuing to rub her back.

she finished the song with a small smile, tightening her grip on felix

He smiled, pressing a kiss on Kai's cheek. ``You have a lovely voice,`` he said quietly, running a hand through her hair.

thank you" she muttered, nuzzling into his neck

``No problem,`` he said with a smile, holding Kai close.

she yawned, before hearing her phone ring in her pocket

He ran a hand through her hair, glancing down at her.

she pulled her phone out of her pocket and froze when she saw the caller. she got off his lap,answering the call,"i'll be right back" she whispered to him, before walking to the other side of the play ground

``Alright,`` he replied, watching her walk off. He sat, wondering if he should follow but, but decided not to.

what do you want mom"she asked
can't i call my little baby girl?" her mother asked,sounding a little nervous
no, not after the way you treated me then KICKED ME OUT!" she replied, her voice laced with anger
" and i am not your baby girl" she added
"you will not talk to your mother that way young lady" her mother snapped
"you are not my mother"
she heard a sigh come from the phone
"look, i don't want to fight kaianna-"
"kai" she corrected
"fine, kai, anyways, mean your father want you to go back to us, start over"
oh hell no, i will not let you back into my life with open arms, goodbye"she said
"WAIT, KAI-" her mother said as she hung up -

Felix stood, feeling as though something were wrong. He made his way over to her, turning a corner. ``Hey, you okay?`` -
she threw her phone as hard as she could, before collapsing to the ground and pulling her knees to her chest, starting to shake
