she startled awake, her eyes snapping open

``You okay?`` Felix asked, running a hand through Kai's hair.

she hugged him, shaking, "my parents found us, and tried to take me away from you" she said, tears streaming down her face

Felix hugged Kai close, pressing a kiss on her head. ``I would never let that happen,`` he murmured, rubbing her back.

she shook, holding on to him tightly

Felix sang softly, holding Kai close and slowly rocking back in forth.

Kai smiled, listening to his voice

He smiled and continued to sing, rubbing her back.

she nuzzled his neck, "i love you felix"

``I love you too,`` Felix said with a smile, pressing a kiss on Kai's cheek.

she closed her eyes in content, a small smile on her face

He hummed, holding Kai close to him.

she slowly fell asleep again, soft snores coming from her

Felix smiled, continuing to hum and rub her back.
