``Babe!`` he exclaimed, rushing over to her side. ``Are you okay?? What's wrong?!`` He hugged her close, sitting down beside her and pulling her into her lap. He rubbed her back, holding Kai close.

my parents want me to go back to them" she said"they think that i'll just go running back into their arms, but i'll be damned if i let them back into my life". she curled up in his lap, letting out shaky breaths, her mind filled with horrible memories

Felix nodded, continuing to try and comfort her. ``Why don't you want to go back to them?``

they treated me like s---, i would be stuck in a room of girly things, like dolls, that was just straight up creepy though, it was the fact that if i wasn't wearing one of the dressing and playing with the dolls when they checked on they wouldn't give me anything to eat, i almost went insane in that room" she said with a shudder

Felix sighed, nodding. ``I'm sorry your parents tried to make you something you're not,`` he said, pressing a short kiss on Kai's lips. ``If you want to live with me, you can. I'm sure my parents won't mind.``

yeah, that sounds like a plan" she said with a light chuckle

Felix nodded and stood, picking up Kai in his arms. He pressed a kiss on her lips before making his way back to his house.

she clung to him, silent the entire way back

``I'm sorry about all that,`` he said, looking over to Kai.

she let out a chuckle, "it's fine, it's not your fault" she said

``I know, but I feel bad your parents did that stuff to you,`` he said, holding Kai close.

she smiled, nuzzling into his chest, "i'm glad you care" she murmured

Felix smiled, rubbing the side of her arm. ``I always will.``

she nodded and closed her eyes, falling asleep

He pressed a kiss on her forehead, arriving at his house. No cars in the driveway, other than his. Guess his sister went out. He opened the door and walked inside, being greeted by his cat. He walked upstairs to his room, setting Kai down on his bed.
