Adrienne smiled and followed him. She gazed in amazement as they walked through the grand and lavish building.

``So, you two will be staying in our guest suite,`` Callum explained, making his way up the grand staircase to the second floor. ``It's fairly large, and has two bedrooms and fair sized washroom.``

"This place is gigantic," Adrienne said.

Callum chuckled, nodding. ``Yeah, it is.`` He walked over to a large doorway, opening it into a large, neatly decorated room with two side rooms and a doorway leading to a balcony. ``Here's the guest suite,`` he said, letting Adrienne and her father enter the room.

Adrienne opened the doors to the balcony. She had the biggest grin on her face as she looked out on the view, taking in the fresh cool air.

``You like it?`` Callum asked, watching Adrienne walk out to the balcony.

She nodded. Her eyes were lit up like the bright sun that shone that day. For some reason, as she stared out at the beautiful sight, she didn't feel so uncertain about her decision anymore.

``I'm glad you like it,`` he said, smiling. He watched her for a moment before uncrossing his arms. ``Do you two need anything? I can get you whatever you need.``

"No, we're fine," her dad said.
"Can I talk to you later?" Adrienne asked him. -
``Oh, yes, of course,`` Callum replied. ``We can talk now, not like I'm busy or have anything to do.`` He chuckled, running a hand through his hair.

"I can take care of things," her dad said. "You two can go along."
Adrienne nodded and turned to Callum. -
``So uh, what'd you want to talk about?`` Callum asked, looking over to Adrienne.

"Two things," Adrienne said. "One, how is this all supposed to work? Like, is there some sort of courting session and then we get married?"

``Uh, I believe so,`` Callum said, rubbing the palms of his hands against his jeans. ``I've uh, never really done this so I don't exactly know how this'll work. Nor have I asked my father about it. Which I probably should have.``

"That's okay, I'm sure we'll figure it out at some point," Adrienne said. "Second, why do I feel like I've known you before?"
