``Yeah, I guess so,`` Callum said with a smile, his face turning red. ``Uh, anyways, I should probably keep thin line moving. Y'know, for the sake of the others so they don't have to stand in line all day.`` He chuckled awkwardly, uncrossing his arms.
-
"Yeah, Emily is looking impatient,' Adrienne said, looking at her friend who had her arms crossed. "It was nice meeting you."
She gave him a smile before returning to her friends.
"What took so long?" Emily asked.
Adrienne raised her hands. "Sorry," she said. "I'll wait for you guys over there," she pointed.
"It's okay, and we'll meet you there" she said, then walked up to Callum while Adrienne went to a spot under a tree. -
``Nice meeting you too,`` Callum said with a smile, watching Adrienne walk off. He looked over to see someone who he believed was one of Adrienne's friend walk up and he greeted her, extending his hand.
-
Emily shook his hand. She seemed a little strained and blunt. She kind of wanted to get this over as fast as possible, because the only reason she had agreed to do this was because her other friends were doing it and wouldn't do it without her.
-
``So uh, you're a friend of Adrienne's, correct?`` Callum asked, lowering his hand and looking at the girl.
-
"I am," Emily nodded.
The rest of the talks with the other three girls went okay, but Adrienne's had gone the best. (Because I'm too lazy to think things up.)
"Let's go," Sam said.
"But there's one problem," Megan said.
"What?" she asked.
"I sat down and I don't think I'll be able to get back up."
"Help I've fallen and I can't get up!" Emily joked.
The four of them laughed.
Adrienne found the willpower to stand up then hauled her friends to their feet. They started walking back to the hotel. -
( lol me in a nutshell- )
Callum sighed, just completely exhausted. ``Jesus, there were so many girls..`` he muttered, walking into his room and flopping down on his bed.
``Well, how'd it go?`` Adelaide asked, walking into Callum's room.
``Eh, well enough.``
``Well, did you find any girls you liked?`` She asked, walking over to Callum.
``I mean, I guess I might have,`` he said, sitting up. -
"I think you did the best, Adrienne," Megan said from the bathroom as she changed into her pajamas.
"Why do you say that?" she asked.
"Well as far as I was able to watch, out of all the girls I saw you were the only one he laughed with," Samantha said.
"Why are you all thinking I'm going to be the one he chooses?" Adrienne asked, obviously confused.
"I dunno," Emily said. "You just seem a good fit."
"There's literally thousands of girls," she said. "The chance that I got chosen is slim to none."
"Let's go to bed," Samantha said. "We've been standing in line all day and my feet hurt." -
``Well, what's she like?`` Adelaide asked with a goofy smile on her face.
``Well, she's uh, she's nice, and pretty, and really funny,`` Callum said, a smile on his face. ``Oh, and she did this hilarious impression of someone in the like that cracked me up. Honestly, I would have been laughing my a-- off if I didn't have to stay calm.``
Adelaide smiled as she watched Callum talk, nodding. ``Seems like you like her.`` -
Soon the four of them had all gotten into their pajamas and gone to sleep.
The next morning. they packed up what little stuff they had brought and went on their way back to their home city. -
( u h idk what to put here ;-; )
-
(Maybe him wondering what his decision will be? Or we could do a time skip if you want)
-
( kk lol )
Callum sat at his desk, absentmindedly drawing as he thought over who he'd pick to be his future wife. God, that sounded so weird to think.
He exhaled, setting his pen down and leaning back in his seat. All he could think about was Adrienne, the very familiar girl he met. He raised an eyebrow, sitting up.
``That girl seemed very familiar,`` he said to himself, pacing his room. ``WAIT, she's familiar because we've met before! God, how could I forget?`` He chuckled, smiling. ``Yeah, I know who I'm picking.`` -
"Well?" Adrienne's dad asked as he came in after work. She had supper all ready and waiting for them to eat together. "How did it go?"
"You have to realize that the chances of me getting chosen is practically nothing," Adrienne said.
Her father looked at her. "Then why did you do it?"
She looked at him. "Because it would make you happy." -
Callum rushed out of his room and into his father's office, a bright smile on his face.
His father looked up to see his smiling son, chuckling. ``Looks like someone's happy,`` he said.
``I know who I want to marry,`` Callum said with a giddy smile.
``Oh really?`` His father asked, standing. ``Well, who's the lucky girl?``
``This girl, Adrienne. She's really pretty, but she's also hilarious and really sweet.`` Callum rambled, very excited about his choice. His father smiled, listening to his son.
