Hello

Hello, @MelissaNotFound !
-
Arlo climbed into the tent for two and curled up into the smallest ball he could. "It should be okay to sleep in here," he whispered to Jo, motioning for her to come in. When he adjusted his position for Jo to come in, the sand under his feet made a satisfying crunch noise.
-
Jo nodded and crawled in, moving to the both of them would have room. She crossed her legs, staring down at the ground as her anxious thoughts swirled in her head. ``I really hope we don't die out here,`` she muttered, hugging her arms around her chest.
-
"We won't," Arlo promised. "It'll be alright, I'm pretty sure. We can just build a raft out of driftwood and get some leaf sails, and we'll head home. We will."
-
Jo looked at Arlo and faintly smiled, nodding. She uncrossed her legs and laid down, yawning. ``Yeah, we'll make it out alive,`` she said in reassurance, staring upward. ``I will be super p--sed if I get killed by something out here, especially when I'm this close to getting 100,000 subs on my channel.`` She added, giggling.
-
"How far along are you?" Arlo asked Jo, trying to keep her mind off of how they might die, stranded together on this island with no clue how far from or how close to home they were.
Arlo glanced up at the night sky through the leaf tent, and his eyes widened. He dropped the coconut he had been clutching for the past… well, who knows how long and it rolled just outside the tent and skidded to a stop. There were no stars at all. Of course, it could have just been the lighting or the awkward position Arlo was in, but… -
``Uh, I think about less than 6,000 away,`` Jo replied, turning on her side. ``For my sub goal, I was planning on doing a 24 hour charity livestream.`` She sighed, propping her head up with her arm. ``Not sure if it'll happen not though.``
-
"Charity is good," Arlo commented, his eyes glazing over at the sight of the plain pitch-black night sky. "I think you’ll get there. Hell, you might be at one hundred thousand right now. People can still sub to you even if you don’t stream or anything."
-
``True,`` Jo said, drawing shapes into the sand below her. ``I'll just have to make up for lost time then.`` She paused, humming quietly. ``Come to think of it, I'll have a fun story to tell them, when I get back,`` she added, giggling.
-
"Storytelling stream. I can already see it," Arlo joked, his eyes sparkling. "I was stranded on an island and by the power of magic I got gifted a driftwood boat that had come with a handy leaf-stick sail, and I sailed home on my lonesome."
-
Jo giggled, lying on her back. ``Yeah, that'd definitely be entertaining,`` she said, putting her arms behind her head. ``Honestly though, it sounds a bit made up, especially the fact that I survived all alone.`` She added, yawning quietly.
