Does he have a family, or any kids? Maybe I split them apart when I did the ritual? Or maybe he is just a lonely person with nobody?Questions swirled though her head, Chase would have liked him.

He sipped at the drink, his music playing pausing for a moment as he blinked in surprise at the taste

She looked over at him and tried to smile but it came out more like a grimace because of the sad memories going through her head.

He noticed "is something wrong?" He askd

"Oh." She realized that she might as well tell him. "My older brother, Chase, was killed a few months ago while they were out hunting. They came across a giant wolf and well, he didn't make it."

Sgrios rumbled quietly "im sorry

"It's okay." Ava drank some more of the drink and answered again, "I don't get how he died so easily. He was the best hunter around, knew how to fight and survive. But one trip over a rock and a fall to the ground got him killed."

Sgrios tilted his head "your kind tend to be fragile in ridiculous ways" he said

"Yeah." Ava got up and rinsed her glass out using the spring next to the cave entrance. "I'm going hunting later on, you wanna come?"

He nodded after a moment, his tail twitching

"Okay." She opened another chest next to her bed. She pulled out a onyx bladed sword and a bow & arrow.

Turning to him, Ava waved her bow at him. "Are you ready to go?", she asked.

"Do you have any weapons?" Ava asked as she strapped her sword belt on.
