Honeysuckle fluffed up and narrowed her eyes at Birchleaf. "If it was on his side of the border in the first place, it isn't ours to begin with! Besides, every clan has mouths to feed and we've got enough," she said, turning to Blackears with a dignified but kind expression. "That won't be necessary, ThunderClan care for themselves. Come on, Birchleaf, let's go."
-
Birchleaf gave Blackears a final glare and stalked away with Honeysuckle. "Filthy ShadowClan dung." He muttered.
Blackears took his prey, surprised, back to camp and told no cat about his little... incident. But that she-cat had been so pretty... -
Honeysuckle stared at Birchleaf in surprise before stiffening up defensively. She wasn't sure why she felt so protective over the handsome tom, but she felt connected to him in a way. "Well, I thought he was very kind to offer that prey," she said stiffly.
(Can I make a ShadowClan cat to swoon over him 👀) -
Sure))
Birchleaf followed Honeysuckle back to camp -
Your Majesty, it has been a solid day, and you know how stressed I get over my roleplays))
-
I thought I answered this already lol))
Icepelt was bright eyed and bushy tailed, waiting for Blackears to return. Her glistening silvery white pelt stood out against the darkly colored cats of ShadowClan.
Honeysuckle dropped her piece of prey onto the prey pile, before going off to sun herself on a warm rock. -
Blackears returned, deciding not to mention the earlier border squabble. He noticed Icepelt and nodded politely at her, before dropping his prey off at the fresh-kill pile.
Birchleaf heard a familiar meowing sound coming from the medicine den. His mother, Treebranch, had had Greencough for nearly a quarter-moon now. The medicine cats said it was getting worse, and it worried him.
Can ya do Treebranch for me :3)) -
Alright lol))
Icepelt purred when he gave her recognition, a warm feeling in her chest.
"Blackears, you're home!" Treebranch mewed, her voice a little raspy but filled with love. "Did you catch anything?" -
You mean Birchleaf not Blackears))
He walked back to Icepelt. "Since you're the only one not napping, want to patrol the WindClan border with me?"
Birchleaf nodded. "Yep, me and Honeysuckle got a decent amount of prey. -
OH PFFT SORRY))
Icepelt could hardly believe her luck. "Ooh, I'd love to!" she said with a warm smile. "Shall we?"
"I'm so proud of you," Treebranch purred. "I-"
She was interrupted by a fit of coughing, unable to speak for a moment. "Sorry dear, I've just got a little cough. What was I saying?" -
He nodded, and led the way out of camp. "We'll catch any prey we see, since it's so scarce."
"You were happy I caught some prey.." Birchleaf said. -
Icepelt stalked the undergrowth, creeping around tree roots. "Even if it's a sickly old rat?"
Treebranch nodded. "Right. So when are you going to take on a mate, Birchleaf? We both know you're handsome and clever enough to get one," she said with a chuckle. -
Blackears snorted. "Well, not anything sickly. Greencough is bad enough, we don't need to worry about food poisoning as well!"
Birchleaf shook his head. "Honeysuckle is pretty, but she refuses to take a mate!" -
Icepelt grinned cheekily. "What if it's a scrawny little bag of bones?"
Treebranch slapped her tail against the ground. "Nonsense! They all come around at some point. I was just the same." -
He shrugged. "It's better than nothing, in this weather." It had just begun to snow again, even though a thick layer of snow went halfway up their legs already and the trees were covered in large icicles and layers of frost.
Birchleaf nodded, wanting to respect his mother, even knowing she might be dying. The harsh wind blowed into the medicine cat den, which made him shiver. Looking outside, he noticed more snow already on its way. "It's snowing again." He noted aloud.
