Turning to his stepsister, Kiki, "Kiki, I'm not me any more. The old me died the moment i was bite by the vampire."

"No, he helped me be able to block the thoughts of the 'Fallen', and in doing so helped me unlock some powers." Shadne smiled.

"oh. So, you're ok, right? Storm asked, still a little dazed from every thing.

"Yeah, of course." He smiled again.

so...now what, she thought. -
Gray returned to the room through the window, carrying a beetle in his tiny jaws. "So what's been going on while I've been gone?"

"Hello..... You must be Gray. I heard so much about you..." Kiki said.

Shadne went transparent on his command. "This is so cool.."

Gray tilted his head to the side, crunching on the beetle and gulping it down as he looked curiously at Kiki. "Do I know you?"

"And you must be Storm." Kiki said pointing at Storm. "And Sunny." She pointed toward Sunny. "And you three must be Snowflake, Daylight, and Moonlight." She pointed at those three.

“Hey, what ever happened to all the vampires, guys?” Storm asked suddenly worried.

"That's what I went out for," Gray said, flicking an ear to rid it of dust. "Bad news or good news first?"

"She's my stepsister." Shadne answered as he checked out his powers.
